Gotfreefax.com is a website that offers free as well as paid fax services to US and Canada. This service is however, only for sending faxes and not receiving them. In case you need to receive some faxes, you may have to use some other services listed below. In case of using their free service, you are allowed only 2 faxes per day and each fax can have a maximum of 3 pages. The cover page is free and will not have any ads on it. There are also premium pay-per-fax services and premium fax services for business.
Faxzero.com is another service that offers free fax services. Here too you can only limited faxes. In this case, you can send about 5 faxes per day and only 3 pages maximum per fax. There will however be an ad on the cover page. There is also a paid service which charges you $1.99 per fax which allows you 15 pages per fax. We would however not recommend using the paid service as there are many services that are cheaper on a monthly basis. This is also restricted to US and Canada. They have international faxing but the charges and the plans are different.
OneSuite.com is a website that allows for inbound as well as outbound fax services. If you are a person who just needs to receive faxes, they have a plan called OneSuite Fax Basicwhere in you pay just $1.00/month and get unlimited faxes on your email. If you need both inbound as well as outbound fax services, they have a plan called OneSuite Fax Plus where in you pay just $2.95/month and send as well as receive unlimited faxes. But since we are talking about free services, if you are a person who is just looking for a one time faxing solution or say just for a few days, then this might be a good option too because they offer a no subscription one month free trial. Also, they have a service wherein you can start with just $10 and get not only faxing but also international call forwarding and VoIP services.
popfax.com is a website that offers service across 23 countries. Their plans start at $4.99/month. They offer various features and seems to be extremely good for businesses. They also offer a Free trial. They have many services like send only faxes, sending and receiving faxes, faxmailing, mobile fax etc. This might be a goof option that you can use for international faxes. When you check their website, you will be able to see that there are a lot of options that you can check out. The site can be a little confusing so you might want to spend sometime navigating for your requirement.
Ringcentral.com is a paid service that offers different plans based on your requirements. This seems to be a fairly popular website that allows fax service. It allows for both Inbound and Outbound faxing. The plans start at $7.99/month which allows for 500 pages/month to $39.99/month which allows unlimited pages a month. They also offer free 30-day trialfor each of their services. They operate for US and Canada only. They provide great on-phone support for their customers. Call them at 888-350-2177 for special promotions not published on the Internet.
extremefax.com is another paid service. But this one is slightly cheaper than ring central above. The plan is just $6.67/month for 500 pages. They also offer a free trial for 7days. They offer sending as well as receiving of faxes. They also allow for receiving voice messages.
srfax.com is website that offers paid faxing but with a 60 day free trial. They have 3 plans but only 2 have the trial offer. The basic plan includes a 25 pages limit monthly for $3.39/month. This however, doesnt have a trial period. The other two plans which are $6.95/month for 200 pages and $9.95/month for 500 pages have both a 60-day trial period. They also have business plans that start at $15.95/month
There are many more services that you will find. But these are some of the services that we felt offer good services. You will find more or less similar services across the other websites too. You can consider the above services as representative of the general services that are found across the industry.
